TNI AU Hawk Upgrade Program, Infoglobal in collaboration with BAE Systems

AIRSPACE REVIEW (airspace-review.com) – Infoglobal signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with BAE Systems at the Indo Defense 2022 Expo & Forum exhibition at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta on November 3.

The signing of the PKS was carried out by Infoglobal CEO Adi Sasongko and BAE Systems Regional Indonesia Director Michael Salkeld.

This signing is a continuation of the TNI AU's previous Hawk 109/209 Upgrade Program.

The company said, in this collaboration Infoglobal will receive technical and material support to support the upgrade of the Indonesian Air Force's Hawk Mk-109 aircraft.

The agreement includes major component overhauls and provision of data interfaces on existing avionics systems along with reachback services to the UK-based engineering team.

The hope is that this technology transfer process can accelerate the development of the original system which is the core of the new Hawk Mk-109 aircraft system.

Michael Salkeld hopes this agreement will provide Infoglobal with the data it needs to develop the avionics of the Hawk 109/209 aircraft and extend the life of the aircraft into the next decade.

For your information, Infoglobal has produced more than 200 units of avionics requirements for Indonesian Air Force aircraft, such as the Hawk 109/209, KT-1B, and C-130 Hercules aircraft .
