Infoglobal Encourages UAV Research and Development, Adopts Strategic Control Laws for Enhanced Drone Mission Efficiency

Infoglobal encourages research and development in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or drone technology through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by providing funding assistance to students for research and development activities related to their final projects. This initiative follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Laboratory of System and Cybernetics, Department of Electrical Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya on August 1, 2023.

One of the outcomes of this collaboration is the publication of a scientific journal titled "Strategic Control in Cooperative Multi-Agent Moving Source Seeking with Obstacle Avoidance," authored by Mochammad Sahal, Trihastuti Agustinah, and Achmad Jazidi from ITS Electrical Engineering, in collaboration with Haiping Du from the University of Wollongong, Australia.

The research employs strategic control laws using the cooperative multi-agent moving source seeking with obstacle avoidance method. This method involves multiple agents/entities working together to locate a moving source within a given environment while considering obstacle avoidance.

This approach enables the tracking or searching for sources that do not have a static position but move within a certain timeframe, optimizing the search for moving sources while avoiding collisions or other constraints in the environment. Additionally, the consideration of obstacle avoidance factors in this study allows the system to focus not only on moving obstacles but also on stationary obstacles.
