Bali - BRIN Public Relations. The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) has signed a cooperation agreement with PT Infoglobal Teknologi Semesta through the Aeronautics Technology Research Center (PRTP) and Research Organization for Aeronautics and Space (ORPA). This agreement encompasses research on experimental aircraft technology, light aircraft, aviation propulsion systems, and unmanned aerial vehicle systems. The signing took place during the Bali International Airshow 2024 at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Thursday (September 19).
Fadilah Hasim, Head of the Aeronautics Technology Research Center, explained that BRIN is committed to conducting more inclusive research, collaborating with both universities and industries. "PT Infoglobal Teknologi Semesta has developed technology for subsystems and components of aircraft, while we focus on research on key systems and technologies," Fadilah stated.
Fadilah also added that this collaboration will include the study, development, and implementation of subsystems for vehicles, flight control, data links, and navigation for unmanned aerial vehicles. "PT Infoglobal Teknologi Semesta will be able to conduct testing using the existing research infrastructure at BRIN," he explained.
