GFAC Simulator enhances Ground Forward Air Control (GFAC) execution and mission planning capabilities while directing the actions of aircraft engaged in Close Air Support (CAS).This simulator consists of equipment integrated in a special room that provides a realistic simulation situation thereby saving costs and increasing the safety and confidence of the trainees before practicing on the real field.
The simulator is designed with realistic fire mission & terminal attack control, in order to provide military personnel with the skills and knowledge necessary to execute successful GFAC mission planning and Close Air Support (CAS) in real-world scenarios.
The system is fielded in modular basis configurationand reconfigurable to meet the specific needs of the customer and/or facility.
