National Defence Industry Strengthens Integrated Air Defense Systems through TDAS

Strengthening the national air defense command and control system remains a strategic priority in safeguarding Indonesia’s airspace sovereignty. One of the initiatives supporting this effort is the utilization of the Transmission Data Air Situation (TDAS), a system that enables real-time integration of radar data with firing units within a unified and integrated air defense system.

The implementation of TDAS was recently inspected directly by the Commander of the National Air Defense Command (Pangkohanudnas), Air Marshal Andyawan Martono Putra, on Thursday (12 February) at the Headquarters of Air Defense Artillery Regiment (Arhanud) 1/Falatehan and Air Defense Artillery Battalion (Yonarhanud) 10/Agni Bhuana Cakti in South Jakarta. The inspection was conducted as part of efforts to strengthen the command and control system in support of integrated national air defense and security operations, including ensuring the reliability of target data distribution, response speed, and continuity of information within the air defense command and control chain, as reported by indonesiadefense.com.

As part of the national defense industry, Infoglobal contributes to the development of technology solutions that support the implementation and enhancement of the TDAS system. This contribution includes system development and integration designed to improve interoperability among air defense elements, particularly in the processing and distribution of tactical data.

“Reliable and real-time data integration is a critical element of modern air defense systems. Through the technology solutions we develop, Infoglobal is committed to supporting operational readiness and the effectiveness of the national air defense system,” said J. Adi Sasongko, CEO of PT Infoglobal Teknologi Semesta.

TDAS functions as a tactical data link between central radar systems and firing units, enabling each air defense element to operate in a coordinated manner within an integrated system. The successful air defense system integration simulations involving TDAS demonstrate technological readiness and highlight the importance of collaboration between the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the domestic defense industry.

Going forward, Infoglobal will continue to strengthen its role as a strategic technology partner by delivering adaptive and reliable solutions aligned with national defense requirements, in line with efforts to achieve greater independence within Indonesia’s defense industry.
